This app has potential to be high quality. Its close but not yet. If the image resolution was better, I would give 5 stars. But at the current resolution the images are slightly blurred. Zooming in, the blurs only get magnified and doesnt help with identifying/classifying. If they were a higher resolution, the images in this app really would be great for identifying/classifying. This can be an especially big deal to those still learning this material, which appears to be the target audience of this app. I enjoyed the rest of the features. When flipping the cards for the answers, it lists the answers with explanations and relevant details. There are also several arrows on each slide, which helps me with learning. This part is extremely helpful, no complaints about this. For the image quality being so low, I gave three stars. If they doubled or tripled the resolution, I would give 5 stars. This review is for the free version, but I see the same complaints in reviews for the paid version as well.
Great app for those studying histology, in-depth explanations of tissue types and what you would expect to find in a stain. Also goes through straining procedures.
Says its free but only gives you like 10 flash cards and then after that if you want more you have to pay for them
I just shelled $40 for the histology set, in part because theres nothing else in the app store, and i need the help. I find the cards useful, but the resolution is inexcusably low for the price. Microscope slides are exactly the sort of image you need to zoom way in ob, and that isnt happening here.
